Straight Stairlifts customers
Stairlift tracks fall into two basic categories: straight and curved; it can be a little confusing to know which type you need for your staircase. Straight stairlift tracks can only travel in straight lines, they cannot turn a corner or go around a bend. Beechfield stairlifts offers a range of straight stairlifts to suit your needs.
Do I need to redecorate?
The stairlift track is fitted to the stairs, not the wall, so it is you won’t need to redecorate following the installation of your stairlift. Like all of our stairlifts, the straight stairlifts have a battery backup which means it will continue to work in the event of a power cut, so you won’t get stranded up or downstairs.
All Handicare stairlifts have safety sensors on the power pack and footplate, these are designed to stop the lift if it meets any obstruction. All of our stairlifts have a diagnostic display so that you can monitor the status of your stairlift. Your stairlift will also come with a seat belt as standard for additional peace of mind.
To operate your Handicare stairlift, just press the large robust joystick in the direction you wish to travel and the stairlift will transport you smoothly and safely. All our stairlifts also come with two remote controls which can be used to call the stairlift between floors. This allows you to park the stairlift at the top or bottom of the stairs.
The Right Stairlift
Our representative will conduct a user assessment at the same time as the staircase survey. During this assessment some measurements may be taken to ensure the stairlift chosen is suitable for the user. This assessment is used to ascertain which features would be required now and, in the future, to ensure you get the best stairlift.
