How does the grant payment work?
The maximum amount available in a stairlift grant is €6000. This may cover up to 100% of the cost of installing a stairlift in your home.
What does it cover?
If your stairlift does not cost the full €6000, the mobility aids grant will just cover the cost of the stairlift and installation. The grant also covers the purchase and installation of grab-rails, a level access shower and access ramps.
