Just installed: a Handicare straight stairlift in Killaloe, Co. Clare.

The simple and elegant slide track looks so neat and tidy, and note that the door at the bottom of the stairs is not obstructed. This is such an important consideration when installing a stairlift – you have to make sure that your stairlift does not casue any obsruction to doorways or walkways at both the bottom and top of the stairs.

Also, it’s important to note and these images show – there is ample room on the staircase for other users in the household.

Some photos of a recent stairlift installation of a Handicare curved stairlift in Bishopstown Cork. As with all curved stairlifts, they are manufactured in Hanidcare’s specialist stairlift factory and then shipped for installation in the client’s home. Each curved stairilift is made to measure to the exact specifications of the client’s stairs.

Note the extra return on the top of the staircase: this presents the client with easy access to the main bathroom. This can be an important consideration when planning a stairlift installation.

Also, it’s important to note and these images show – there is ample room on the staircase for other users in the household.

Some photos of a recent stairlift installation of a Handicare curved stairlift in Kilmallock Limerick. After meeting with the client and discussing their requirements and measuring their staircase, our client opted for the Handicare 2000 simplicity curved stairlift with a brown rail to tie into their lovely wooden staircase. Whilst the staircase was narrow, the Handicare was custom made to fit the stairs and the end result was a perfect installation that contoured the flow of the stairs, for minimal intrusion.

We were recently contacted by a customer who required an urgent installation of a Handicare stairlift in Drumcondra. Our customer was undergoing cancer treatment which has greatly reduced her mobility at times. She felt she needed a stairlift as it made her feel safer when using the stairs and wanted to keep using her upstairs rooms.
Our client contacted us based on a recommendation from a previous customer and was absolutely delighted with the service she received. Her home was surveyed using our latest Handicare 4D stairlift software and 5 days later, we installed the Handicare Stairlift in Drumcondra.

Handicare’s 4D photographic electronic survey system enables our stairlift experts to measure our client’s staircases accurately by placing markers on and around the stairs which are photographed, with specialist software measuring the images to create a 3D model of the staircase and the stairlift track. A new slim design, straight stairlift in Stepaside, South Dublin. Our Handicare 1100 straight stairlifts are taking the market by storm, and we had our stairlift expert in South Dublin for another installation. The stairlifts which are new to the market, with an extra slim design can fit the narrowest of stairs making it suitable for every house. The stairlift in Stepaside was to help the elderly couple move from their bedroom which was downstairs, to their living area on the top floor of their house, which had the most amazing views from their fabulous bay windows. Our customers were in touch with us over the phone and we arranged for their area representative to visit their home. We have a new area representative, Michael Healy, who now covers the Stepaside area. When we send any of our area representatives to the homes of our customers, they will talk to our customers and find out why they require a stairlift. The representative will talk through the different options available to the customer and the benefits of each. Once they’ve chosen a stairlift, our rep will design them a 3D image of what the stairlift would look like on their staircase using a specialised photography system. Two New Stairlifts in Dundalk Home

Double stairlifts in Dundalk

Our installation took a packed delivery last week to complete a double installation of two curved stairlifts in Dundalk. This home has two separate stairs and the home owner needed the addition of stairlifts to help him reach the different areas of his home. The customer opted for the two inside stairlifts rather than deface the outside of his home which is over 200 years old.

This client originally got in touch through our customer service team who directed him to the Dundalk area representative, Enda. Like all our stairlift queries, our area rep called to the home to meet the client, understand their requirements and to assess the stairs. Once Enda gathered all the information he needed, he carried out a free no obligation assessment to provide the client with a quote. During the assessment, Enda uses a camera and 3D technology to capture the angles of the stairs and the length of the staircase. This allows Enda to show the client what a stairlift would look like on the stairs. Enda then discussed the different styles of curved stairlifts available to the customer which would also meet his requirements of needing two stairlifts in Dundalk.

To fit in with the stylish décor of the home, the client went for two Handicare Rembrandt stairlifts. Unlike other stairlifts, the Rembrandt stairlift is specifically designed to run on the internal side of the stairs, meaning it runs on the side of the bannister rather than the side of the wall. It is available in 3 standard colours (cream, grey and brown) or alternatively it can be order in any RAL colour at an exceptional cost. The Rembrandt like all Beechfield Stairlifts, is custom designed and made to suit the exact dimensions of the stairs and the installation took less than a day. This installation was slightly longer than most because the one house needed two stairlifts in Dundalk. It also took two of our installers, PJ and Declan to complete the job to it’s highest standard in minimal time.

Once both of the Beechfield Stairlift engineers had cleaned their working spaces, they showed the son of the client, who was present on the day, how to use both stairlifts and the remote controls. They showed the client the function to each button on the remote and how to fold the seat and the footplate.
