Curved stairlifts
The compact design that turns corners
Curved stairlifts have tracks that are specifically designed to suit staircases that turn corners or are spiral. All Handicare curved stairlifts from Beechfield Healthcare share the same high-quality features: easy to operate, whisper silent and functional design. With our different types of stairlifts we are able to place a Handicare stairlift in every type of house and provide a safe and comfortable ride up even the most complicated of staircases.
Twin rail & Single rail solutions
Beechfield healthcare offers two curved track systems: one with one rail, the other with two rails. Both tracks are made to order following a survey of the individual staircase. The twin rail stairlift is very similar to our single rail solutions with added durability and a heavier weight capacity. The compact design allows plenty of space for other stair users.
Our qualified surveyors will be able to take you through each of options available for your staircase and help you choose the stairlift solution that is right for you and your home.

Vermeer
Our multi-storey stairlift
The Vermeer has been designed specifically for multi-storey houses and apartment block stairwells. Also, for houses with a spiral staircase this stairlift is the best solution. In principle it is identical to the Rembrandt and Van Gogh in terms of technique, appearance and materials. Standard with foldable footplate and swivel-seat.
Van Gogh
Our stairlift for your outside bend, giving you the most secured feeling
One of the most popular stairlifts in the world it provides a safe, smooth and comfortable ride up even the most complicated of staircases. It consists of a single tubular track, which is less than 8 cm. in diameter. Moreover, the track is available in three standard colours and optional in any RAL colour for an additional charge. It runs almost silently and the most compact design allows plenty of space for other stair users.
Rembrandt
Special stairlift design for the inside bend of the stairs leaving plenty of space on your stairs
The track of the Rembrandt stairlift runs above the narrow side of the stairs, the broad section of the stairs remains completely free for other stair users. The track comes in three standard colour choices; cream, grey and brown, but can be supplied in any RAL colour as a “special” order.
SAFETY AS STANDARD
- All Handicare stairlifts have safety sensors on the power pack and footplate, these are designed to stop the lift if it meets any obstruction.
- All Handicare stairlifts have a diagnostic display so that you can monitor the status of your stairlift.
- Your stairlift will also come with a seat belt as standard for additional peace of mind.
- All upholstery options are also fire retardant.
EASY TO USE
All that you need to do to use your Handicare stairlift is to press or hold the large robust toggle or joystick in the direction you wish to travel and the stairlift will transport you smoothly and safely.
All Handicare stairlifts also come with two remote controls which can be used to call the stairlift between floors. This not only allows you to park at the top or bottom of the stairs, it is ideal for multi-user situations as the stairlift can be called between levels.
USER ASSESSMENT AND PHOTOSURVEY
Our representative will conduct a user assessment at the same time as conducting the staircase survey. During this assessment some measurements may be taken to ensure the stairlift chosen is suitable for the user. There will also be some simple questions to see which would be the best side to place the controls, what sort of seat belt would best suit the users and to ascertain which features would be required now and in the future.
Most staircase surveys are very quick and easy to perform. If your staircase is more complex with intermediate landings, fan stairs or a spiral for example, the survey may be conducted quickly with Handicare photographic survey systems (PhotoSurvey). This specially developed electronic system maximises the accuracy a staircase survey whilst minimizing the time needed to carry it out.
Cards are placed on and around the stairs and photographed. Specialist software measures these images to create an accurate 3D model of your staircase so the track is designed to fit your staircase perfectly.
